Privacy Policy

In one sentence
We do not collect, store or transmit your files or personal data. Every conversion happens inside your browser, on your device. We do not see your files.
What we do not collect
- Files you convert (they stay in your browser tab).
- Email addresses (there is no signup form).
- Names, payment information, IP addresses tied to identity.
- Cross-site browsing behaviour or any kind of fingerprint.
What we do collect
We optionally run a self-hosted Plausible Analytics instance to count page views. Plausible is cookie-less, does not record IP addresses beyond rough geographic country, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA and PECR without a consent banner. The aggregated traffic data helps us understand which tools are useful and prioritise future work. If you would still rather not be counted, our analytics endpoint can be blocked by uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, or any other content blocker.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies. We may use the browser's localStorage and Service Worker cache to persist your preferences and to cache WebAssembly modules for offline use. These caches stay on your device and never reach our servers.
Third-party services
The site is served through Cloudflare for caching and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may log basic request metadata (timestamp, IP, URL) according to its own privacy policy, like any web host does. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or any marketing-grade tracker.
Your rights
Because we do not store personal data tied to you, there is no record to request, export, correct or delete. If you believe we somehow hold data about you anyway, email info@torontosoft.com and we will respond.
Changes
If we ever change this policy in a way that broadens what we collect, we will update the "Last updated" date and post a notice on the home page for at least 30 days.
